honestly, it’s more about letting myself not be “on” with the intention of finding a relationship. i feel like that’s such a hard concept to explain but flipping the switch in my brain to do things for myself/friendships rather than potential lovers. learning to turn “on” for reasons other than relationships.

i do think it’s very lovely you’re in a relationship where you feel comfortable in public spaces. i feel like most relationships ive been in have been sooo bad and have made me hyper vigilant of my actions in public so they couldn’t be perceived in a negative way. like i couldn’t talk to someone of the opposite gender without having to be concerned that my partner would think it was flirting. this is something i have also been unpacking.
